Job Description:
A company is looking for an Authorization Supervisor to oversee
staff in managing patient receivables and ensuring compliance with
regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise staff in collecting outstanding patient receivables and
resolving credit balances
Maintain team standards for accountability and professionalism,
ensuring adherence to training and regulatory requirements
Assist in employee career development and establish best practices
for conflict resolution and receivable management
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
A minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing/collections
or contact management support
Previous experience supervising a team of prior authorization
professionals preferred
Thorough understanding of the insurance claim adjudication process
and applicable regulations
Excellent organizational and teamwork building skills
