• Assist with performing assessments and treatments. -
  • Perform diagnostic radiographs. -
    • Obtain alginate impressions for diagnostic and/or intra-oral appliances. -
      • Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned. -
        • Maintain dental equipment and medical supplies, including sterilizing instruments, reordering, stocking, cleaning and troubleshooting. -
          • Maintain examination areas. -
            • Work in clinical and operating room settings as needed. - -Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: - -
              • High school diploma or GED. - -
                • Two years of dental assisting experience -
                  • State certified as a Dental Assistant Radiographer. -
                    • Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) must be obtained within one year of employment OR must hold a certification as a Certified Ohio Dental Assistant (CODA) administered by the Ohio Commission on Dental Assistant Certification (OCDAC). -
                      • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. -
                        • Specific certification required depends on the assigned area. - -
                          • Knowledge and understanding of the dental management of medically compromised patients to include cardiology, oncology, hematology, and infectious disease patients. - -Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.                             • Must be able to ambulate patients for x rays and to dental chair.
                            • Dexterity sufficient to operate CRT/PC and other office equipment.
                            • Ability to work while standing the majority of work day.
                            • Requires frequent data entry, lifting patients, pushing/pulling over 75 pounds, sitting, squatting, standing and walking. -
                            • Must possess manual dexterity to pass instrumentation, hand mix impression material and stone / plaster, use applicator gun to express impression gun, trimming casts as well as operate PC.Personal Protective Equipment:
