  • Job Description: Nursing position in OB at Uniontown Hospital.
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Low risk 36 week gestation and above.
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Labor, postpartum and newborn nursing care.
    • Job Requirements
    • Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, EFM, ACLS.
    • Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: Self scheduling.
      • Weekend Requirements: Every other.
      • Holiday Requirements: Every other.
      • Is there call or a standby requirement? No call currently at this time.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • RT Equipment: CPAP for infants in Continuing Care Nursery with Neonatal Nurse Practioner Coverage.
        • Is there tele on this unit? No tele. RNs must read strips for C-section recovery.
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS (AHA), AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM), BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certificate.
          • Ratios: Labor 1:1, Postpartum Couplets 3:1.
          • Charge Nurse and House Supervisor in house 24/7.
          • NCAs and scrub tech on 24/7.
