Planner/Buyer Needed in Murrysville, PA!

Temporary position lasting 3- 4 months

Rate of pay: 15-17 based on experience.

Adecco is currently seeking a qualified candidate who is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, to complete a temporary PLANNER/BUYER job for a Fortune 500 client in Murrysville.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Evaluate inventory transactions to ensure accuracy

- Monitor inventory levels

- Coordinate customer delivery and shipping requirements

- Interact with purchasing department on requirements regarding material to meeting customer orders.

- Review and confirm promise dates for products and deliveries.

- Coordinate with management to ensure on time delivery of products to customers.

- Plan and coordinate material requirements and release work orders to manufacturing.

- Coordinate with manufacturing staff regarding customer order requirements.

- Run reports from inventory data and verify inventory accuracy.

Experience/Qualifications:

- Must have recent experience working in production planning in a manufacturing environment

- Must understand production control processes as it relates to purchasing, inventory transactions

and work orders.

- Strong computer skills.

- High school diploma required

- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred, but not required

** Must pass background and drug screenings

** Job is not on a busline
